The Opportunity 
Nutanix is hiring a Resident Consultant in Madrid, Spain to join our Professional Services organization. In this role, you will manage and support customer Nutanix environments. Your tasks will include investigating and resolving issues, providing expert guidance on architectural and engineering changes, and ensuring successful deployments by optimizing cluster configuration and operations. This position requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
 
About the Team 
The Resident Consultant will join the Professional Services team at Nutanix, which is based in Madrid, Spain. This diverse team collaborates closely with our customers and one another to implement and optimize Nutanix solutions. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and a relentless focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Together, we provide the technical expertise, guidance, and support necessary for our customers to maximize the benefits of Nutanix and other 3rd party technologies, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
This role is hybrid, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. No travel is expected, allowing you to focus on delivering customer value.
You will report to the Manager, Nutanix Professional Services.
 
Your Role 
  • Deploy, administer, and optimize customer Nutanix environments to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Support and troubleshoot virtualization issues, employing best practices in solution delivery.
  • Develop and automate processes through scripting and integration with standard frameworks.
  • Create and present comprehensive growth plans and project reports to stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights on architectural improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify new business opportunities and enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct regular status updates and project briefings to ensure transparency and alignment with customer objectives.
  • Set personal development goals to expand expertise in emerging virtualization technologies and leadership skills.
 
What You Will Bring 
  • 4-8 years of experience in virtualization consulting or systems administration.
  • Experience in virtualization technologies. (AHV, VMware vSphere, Citrix)
  • Advanced proficiency in storage technologies and data protection strategies.
  • Hands-on experience in large-scale virtualization environments.
  • Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot complex problems.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent technical experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
  • Advanced Spanish and English written and spoken.
